The Holeyboard I’m Playing This Week!

I am excited to see your pictures of setups, thank you! I just shot another video, soon to be released, and I wanted to show you my latest setup from the video I am using that I played our last gig with (can’t wait for gigs to start up again!).

I had the bug to go stereo, live it was going into two tweed deluxe style amps (These photos are taken here in the shop and you can see it’s going into my Clark Beaufort and my Marshall :), it’s good to work alone sometimes in a space you can turn it up…).

So check out the back and you can see I’m using low profile patch cables from D’Addario that I mention in my Holeyboard 123 Pedalboard Tips and Tricks video, they are awesome. The stereo feed starts at the bottom left at the Strymon El Capistan, so you can see I’ve run two 3′ patch cables under the Top Shelf to get the stereo signal up there. Note also that the Lehle ABY has the capability of stereo out, which sounds magnificent. You could easily go out to your two amps from the Fulltone Supa-Trem 2 or from the Strymon Blue Sky, but I like the ability to change the phasing and drop the ground if I’m getting a hum.

On the bottom  you can see I have Walrus’s big Phoenix power supply, fits great, and I route all the power cords underneath and just zip them together to keep them tidy and out of the way. Enjoy!

  1. I just got the Holeyboard 1 & 2 and it looks nice. I would have went ahead and got the 123 if I had known the sale was going on.
